2024 was a mixed bag for me, both personally and professionally. There's been some fantastic highs and memories made, but there was also a lot of chaos and challenges to overcome. A year full of self-discovery and growth, trying to figure out who I am and how I fit into this world.
January - the year didn't start off great, with an outbreak of Strangles on my horses livery yard. This lockdown made the Covid lockdowns look like a walk in the park!
February - a pretty quiet month still in horsey lockdown, but at least I had fresh hair through it!
March - the month I officially became a 25yo divorcee, but lockdown was lifted and I celebrated a Highly Commended award at the British Diversity Awards, and Insurance Business UK Elite Woman 2024 for my contributions to inclusion and corporate responsibility.
April - lots of memories made with family (pictured for this month with my gorgeous mama).
May - my birthday month.
June - one of my annual highlights with Bramham International Horse Trials.
July - a terrible month for my mental health, but this did lead to taking one of my best holidays ever! A week wild camping in Scotland exploring the NC500. Would 100% recommend!
August - still pretty poor mental health, including being told I'm too broken for therapy. A month of self-reflection and long walks in nature with my dogs or pony!
September - a busy month at work, launching Puppy Parties.
October - huge milestone for the year, the month Baby Pony was backed! After owning her since a foal, it was so special getting to sit on her for the first time.
November - another quiet month but more family time (pictured here with my dad, uncle, aunt and Granny).
December - Christmas, New Years, and lots of family time. Met my newest, littlest niece for the first time! Another busy month at work, finishing up ready for a long Christmas break.
Whilst there was challenges to overcome, I learnt along throughout 2024. That said, I'm glad to see the back of it and excited to see what the new 12 months hold in store! Here's to 2025!
